Wildflowers

Mojave Desert

Southern Nevada spring wildflower season occurs from early March to late April. These months bring a bursts of magnificent color in the Mojave Desert. Blooms of burnt orange, fuchsia and yellow of the native cactus and the white flower clusters of the Joshua trees and Mojave yuccas are part of spring’s display. Perennials like the desert marigold and globe mallow pop with yellow and orange, and Western Redbud trees in shades of purple and pink.

Pictures are from my hiking trips in Southern Nevada.
