Grapevine Canyon
Spirit Mountain
Grapevine Canyon is one of the finest Petroglyph sites in Southern Nevada and is located in Grapevine Canyon on Spirit Mountain. The rock glyphs were created between about 1200 and 1800 AD, and reflects the cultural significance of the surrounding mountains, still considered sacred by several Southwest tribes. The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 15, 1984. Google Map
