Big Falls

Mount Charleston

Big Falls is a beautiful seasonal waterfall is hidden in a shaded canyon and not visible until you’re almost there. The falls hike starts on the Mary Jane Trail and follow a wash with some scrambling over rocks and boulders, but nothing bad.

The Spring Mountains National Recreation Area is comprised of rugged mountains with towering cliffs, steep hillsides, and deep narrow canyons, which are surrounded by a desert landscape. The area’s elevation ranges from 3,000 feet to 11,918 feet at the top of Charleston Peak which creates a variety of climate and vegetation zones including some 18,000 acres of Bristlecone Pine.  Google Map
