Calico Basin

Ash Canyon is a beautiful, secluded canyon just west of the Kraft Mountain wich is a fun scrambling hike with some nice boulders and many beautiful viewpoints along the way.

Calico Basin Recreation Area is a popular rock climbing, hiking destination within the larger Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area that spans 5,700 acres. Fragile and rare springs are found throughout the area, which is filled with giant sandstone formations.
