Red Rock Canyon

South Mountain is in the Rainbow Mountain Wilderness Area and is the southern most peak in Red Rock Canyon. It sits above the Cottonwood Valley with great views of Potosi Mountain and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. There is no trail so make your own.

The Cottonwood Valley Trail System is a network of trails located in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and provides opportunities to experience the best desert mountain biking in Southern Nevada.
