Hollow Rock Peak is a beautiful sandstone peak in the Rainbow Mountain Wilderness Area. It sits above the Cottonwood Valley at the southern end of Red Rock Canyon and has great views of Red Rock Canyon and the Las Vegas Valley.

Rainbow Mountain Wilderness is comprised of colorful, bare sandstone that emerges from the valley floor. Its sheer, towering red and white cliffs are cut by rugged, narrow, twisting canyons. Encompassing 24,997 acres, this desert wonderland dominates the western view of Red Rock Canyon.
