The Cross

Groom, Texas

The Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ on Route 66 in Groom Texas rises 190-feet above the Texas Panhandle and can be seen from 20 miles away. In addition to the cross are a replica of the Shroud of Turin, a life-size Last Supper display, a 10 Commandments monument, and 14 life-size bronze stations of the cross, including an empty tomb display, Tomb of the Unborn and Calvary.

The Cross reminds us that Jesus Christ died for all people and for our sins. It stands at 190 feet as a symbol of His suffering, redemption, and love. The purpose of the Cross is to unite all people from every continent, neighborhood, background, race, age, and religion – under one truth: We are all children of God.
