Upper Bristlecone Trail

The Bristlecone Loop Trail in Lee Canyon nicely forested area with white fir and large aspen, and climbs until you reach the rugged, exposed upper slopes with an extensive stand of ancient Bristlecone pines ‘the Spring Mountains have extensive stands of bristlecones: some 18,000 acres’. This is one of the few Spring Mountains trails open to mountain bikers.

The Bristlecone Loop Trail is located in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area which is part of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest that encompasses more than 316,000 acres of remarkable beauty and surprising diversity. The Spring Mountains NRA is located just 30 minutes from downtown Las Vegas.
